Point of Entry Colt Brings $360,000 at OBS April

04.26.2019 -

A colt from the third crop by Point of Entry commanded a final bid of $360,000 at the 2019 OBS April Two-Year-Old in Training sale.

The flashy bay was a homerun pinhook for Jack Hirsch who purchased the colt at last year's for $50,000 at the Fasig-Tipton July Yearling auction. Turned over to Eddie Woods, the colt posted an impressive work during the breeze shows, zipping a quarter mile in :21 flat.

Sold as Hip #569, the colt is out of the Unbridled's Song daughter See Me Dance whose first four foals of racing age have all found the winner's circle.

Point Of Entry ranks as the leading Third Crop sire of 2019 lead by UAE Derby (G2) winner Plus Que Parfait a leading Kentucky Derby contender.
