The Arindel Farm homebred broke from post 5 under Emisael Jaramillo and was in-hand along the inside during the early stages of the 6-furlong heat. She steadied entering the far turn but once guided to the outside by Jaramillo the grey filly proved no match for her rivals. She rallied four-wide to gain the lead at the top of the stretch and coasted home from there. Her a final quarter shaded :13.

Three-time Grade 1 hero Fort Larned is best known for his 2012 Breeders' Cup Classic victory over eventual 2013 Classic champ and fellow Adena Springs Kentucky stallion Mucho Macho Man. Among his other promising first crop winners is the $170,000 juvenile Fort Wise Treaty.
