From the start, the Stronach family has been firmly committed to offering the best stallion roster anywhere, and we are extremely proud of our success. From an initial stud fee of $5,000 we developed the late El Prado into a Champion Sire in North America. He is now one of the world's most important sire of sires with sons such as Medaglia d'Oro and Kitten's Joy.

Adena Springs has also developed Awesome Again, the sire of 12 Grade 1 winners and 4 Breeders' Cup Champions, tied with Smart Strike and Tapit for most among active stallions. He stands alongside his half brother, Macho Uno, the sire of a Grade 1 winner from each of his first two crops and a leading sales sire in 2012. Awesome Again's son, Horse of the Year and Hall of Famer Ghostzapper, is fulfilling his vast potential at stud, with Grade 1 winners like Stately Victor, Contested and Better Lucky. He's the #1 Sire in 2012 by % Stakes winners and % Graded winners from starters and the #2 Sire by total Graded winners. Five-time Grade 1 winner Einstein, the multiple Grade 1 winner & Classic-placed Tiago and his half brother, Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Giacomo round out the impressive Adena Springs Kentucky roster for 2013.

Adena Springs has also committed significant stallion power to Canada, New York. Standing at Adena Springs in Ontario are: Giant Gizmo, a multiple graded stakes winner by emerging sire of sires Giant's Causeway; Plan, a graded stakes winner by Storm Cat out of Breeders' Cup heroine Spain; Mast Track, record-setting winner of the Hollywood Gold Cup (G1); Milwaukee Brew, a Champion Sire in Canada; Epsom Derby (G1) winner North Light, at Top 10 Canadian stallion in 2012; the versatile multiple Grade 1 winner Showing Up, the #2 First Crop sire in Canada; Silent Name, Canada's #1 Juvenile and Second Crop sire; Singing Saint, an unbeaten son of El Prado; the Sadler's Wells son Sligo Bay, a Top 10 sire in Canada four years running. The multiple graded stakes winner Musketier is the newest Adena Canada stallion. He was an uncommonly sound and durable runner, winning at Group 3 at a juvenile and a Grade 3 at 10 years of age!

A pair of Adena stallions stand at McMahon Farm in New York: Alphabet Soup, the sire of over 40 stakes winners and the first Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner to stand in Empire State and Classic winner Touch Gold, the sire of four Grade 1 winners and a quintessential 'breed to race' sire.
